Forgiveness: Srebrenica Now
This text will be replaced
Photographs from the town taken a decade after the genocide (July 1995) – see below for a web gallery. Serbs and Bosnian Muslims in the town took pictures to reflect their lives in the aftermath of violence. For many, it was the first time that they had worked together.
Developed with the Dutch Bosnian NGO Werkgroep Nederland Srebrenica. BH Community UK and the Srebrenica Justice Campaign.
These photographs have toured conventional galleries (the Salon des Arts and the Viewpoint Gallery, Greenwich) as well as site specific venues such as libraries and prisons (HMP Wormwood Scrubs and Feltham Young Offenders Institute).
We run Creative Writing workshops around the exhibition, exploring issues around conflict and forgiveness.
