Crimson Harvest

Crimson Harvest presents paintings by artist Pero Mandic, who once exhibited internationally but left his former life behind when he fled Bosnia during the war in the former Yugoslavia.

He now keeps his work in a garden shed at his home in northern Serbia where he lives with his family.

His paintings explore his story and the story of life in Bosnia, before and during the war. They show people from different ethnic groups and religions living peacefully side by side in rural villages. Later these same villages saw cataclysmic scenes of death and destruction.

These paintings can be viewed online at www.peromandic.com.
Posters with extended captions are also available.
