Stitch - a Royal School of Needlework class in Harlesden
Women at the Asian Women’s Resource Centre in Harlesden, north London, hard at work at an embroidery workshop run by the Royal School of Needlework and staged by Bridging Arts in November 08. Keen needleworkers from the centre explored traditional English surface stitching with tutors Sophie Long and Kate Farrer.
This workshop was part of A Stitch in Time, funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund, in partnership with The Gallery at Willesden Green.
