Recital by Besa Berberi

.. a recital to mark the 10th anniversary of the genocide at Srebrenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Besa’s studies in Pristina and Zagreb were interrupted by the war in the former Yugoslavia and she came as a refugee to the UK in 1994. She resumed her training at Trinity College of Music, London.
She has since performed for some of the UK’s most well known and loved venues including English National Opera and the Globe Theatre. Recent performances include Juno in Shakespeare’s “The Tempest” and Queen Three in “The Two Noble Kinsmen” at the Globe.
This event is staged by Bridging Arts and the Refugees and the Arts Initiative.
